Teaching is all I have ever really done since I graduated from college (aside from extra part time jobs). If only it could go back to how it was ten years ago. I feel like the kids learned more when there wasn't all this extra documentation, pressure, and paperwork. I had more time to be creative, plan, and implement lessons that were based on student need rather than what the curriculum dictated at that point in time...I digress. Thank you again for your support. I am trying to work from home by selling on eBay. My eBay store is Lowery's Loft and seller name is groovyeducator. If this grows enough, I would love to go and volunteer. I might end up tutoring reading too since I have a Masters in Reading. It's nice to know there are options out there but it is still scary to take a leap into the unknown. I hope I haven't rambled on too much as it is extremely late! Thank you for reading my blog. :)Groovy Educatorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16113597435708410900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644921243553564607.post-58141749481386112632014-04-07T16:07:53.057-05:002014-04-07T16:07:53.057-05:00I am so sorry you are going through a difficult ti...I am so sorry you are going through a difficult time in your life. My word of advice is never underestimate the power of prayer.....God only gives us challenges that we can handle....and you will get through all of this heartache and sadness, it just might take some time. In the meantime---keep on praying! It sounds to me like you may need to take a break from work.....as education right now is extremely stressful (common core, politics, etc.) If you love education, perhaps you can tutor, be a para, library aide, etc. There are other jobs out there in education that may be less stressful than being the classroom teacher.....or perhaps you could run an in-home daycare? This way you can make some money and spend time with your kiddo. I am praying for you sister!

Katie
Mind Sparks
Katie Orr (Mind Sparks)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01080724214704744958noreply@blogger.com
